William was feeling restless and decided to travel. His family cautioned him against his first destination, warning of the tales they have heard. He shrugs it off as rumor. Imagine his surprise when he is shanghaied to be the consort of the King of Summer.
Adrien has been chosen to be the next sacrifice to the gods. This gives him one year to live in luxury before he will be offered up and his heart cut from his body to burn on the holy fire. He refuses to do as asked and spread his seed among the many woman of the village.
When Adrien sees William he decides to rebel and has his guards force William to come back to the palace with him.
As the year progresses the two grow closer. Is there anyway William and Adrien can escape? Or will William be forced to watch the man he has learned to love, die?
