photo

Naval Aviator Flight Suit

Helmet and Flight Suit of a Naval Aviator from the 1970's, donated by Captain Ted Bronson, USN (Ret), located in the Ready Room of the Cold War Gallery. The Ready Room is constructed to resemble the squadron ready room on board an aircraft carrier. It includes artifacts from Attack Squadrons 46, the "The Clansmen." The Ready Room features a modern projection system which can be used to show educational films and computer presentations in support of speakers. The Cold War Gallery, the latest addition to the National Museum of the United States Navy, is located at Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC.
