Henry is a lovable gorilla who lives in a beautiful garden, enjoys flying a kite and rides a black bike. He dreams of one day being able to ride his bike to the moon. His favorite foods are apples and bananas, but he reminds you that he hates lima beans. His friends, Herb the Orangutan, Bill the Giraffe and April the Koala Bear come to visit him and share in his exciting day. At the end, when it's time for bed, Henry puts on his pajamas, which have pictures of dogs and cats on them, and shares with the reader what he has learned that day.
