I work on a fairly well known TV show. We go into haunted houses, give you the guided tour, thrills, chills and all. You might have seen the show, we've got our own resident historian who provides creepy little anecdotes from the history of the place, we've got the our very own psychic, who's about as in touch with the dead as your Aunt Flo, and me... a horror writer they like to make look stupid by scaring the bejesus out of on a regular basis. This new episode we're filming today... it's different. Something doesn't feel right.

REVIEWS

"One of the most seriously creepy pieces it has been my pleasure to read in a long time." -- Charles de Lint, on Remember Me Yesterday.

"A modern fantasist of the first order. Watch as Savile carves a niche for himself in the literature of the new millennium." -- Tim Lebbon

"Troubling, moving, curiously gentle, and a pleasure to read all the way through." -- Ed Gorman.

"Lyrical, passionate and poignant." -- Tom Piccirilli.

THE RESTLESS DEAD is a novella, not a full-length novel, ideal for reading in a single sitting of about an hour.
