James Charnley house (Louis Sullivan)

photo

James charnley house (Louis Sullivan)

Designed by Louis Sullivan and sitting on a really small plot of land in North Astor Street on Chicago's Gold Coast, the Charnley-Persky house as it is now known is the home of the Society of Architectural Historians. There are free trips of the interior on Wednesdays at 12, which is when we went. Recommended. (I took some pictures of the exterior back in June, see earlier in my stream).
