Yahoo! CEO Scott Thompson, just days after announcing a big round of layoffs, unveiled a new corporate structure as he tries to revive the Internet company.

Tablet time

Worldwide sales of tablet computers will almost double to 118.9 million units this year, compared with 60 million units in 2011, according to a report from Gartner.

Rajat Gupta, the former Goldman Sachs director charged with passing inside tips to convicted Galleon Group co-founder Raj Rajaratnam, faces a new claim involving a quarterly sales forecast for Procter & Gamble, US prosecutors said in a court filing.

Dodgers

News Corp.’s Fox Sports unit filed an objection to the LA Dodgers’ bankruptcy reorganization plan over the broadcaster’s rights to renegotiate a contract to televise the team’s games, court filings show. News Corp. owns The Post.
